MIA daily rates start at $17 per day in both parking garages. The Dolphin garage is the best for travelers going to North Terminals D and E. The Flamingo garage serves the Central terminals F and G, and the South terminals H and J. Miami Airport also offers valet parking on the 2nd level Departures in the Dolphin and Flamingo garages. Valet parking at MIA has a daily price of $30 per day, with a maximum stay of 20 days.

The airlines at MIA occasionally have different departure and arrival terminals that can be found on your boarding pass. Below you will find the terminals where each airline counter is located for check-in and baggage drop-off.

North Terminal (blue): American Airlines and British Airways

Central Terminal (yellow): Aer Lingus, Air Europa, Air Italy, Aruba Airlines, BOA, Cayman Airways, Corsair, Eurowings, Finnair, Frontier Airlines, Iberia, Interjet, LOT Polish Airlines, Norwegian, Qatar, Royal Air Maroc, Sun Country, Sunwing, Surinam Airways, Swift Air, TAP Air Portugal, TUlfly, United Airlines, Volaris, WestJet, and XL Airways

South Terminal (red): Aeroflot, Aerolineas Argentinas, AeroMexico, Air Canada, Air France, Alitalia, Avianca, Bahamasair, Caribbean Airlines, COPA Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Eastern Airlines, El Al, GOL, KLM, LATAM Airlines, Lufthansa, Miami Air, SAS, Swiss International, Turkish, Virgin Atlantic, VivaAir, and World Atlantic.

Some of the gates in the North and Central Terminals can be reached using MIA’s SkyTrain. The SkyTrain is located in the North Terminal and can connect travelers to concourse D and Concourse E (gates E1-35). The gates that can be reached by SkyTrain are split into 4 different station stops as seen below.

  • Station 1: Near Gate D17, and serves Gates D1-19
  • Station 2: Between Gates D20-25
  • Station 3: Gates D26-39 and Gates E1-35 (Central Terminal). Please note to reach Gates E20-33, passengers must take the MIA E Train after getting off the SkyTrain.
  • Station 4: Gates D40-60

    Airport FAQS

    No, passengers may only store any luggage in the baggage storage facility on the 2nd level in Central Terminal, concourse E.
    MIA is open for 24 hours, allowing travelers to stay in the airport in case of a flight delay or cancellation. However, please note security checkpoints are not open 24 hours a day.
    Security checkpoint hours depend on the departing times for flights at each terminal. Travelers are encouraged to contact TSA or MIA’s general inquiry phone lines to find out the opening and closing times for the specific terminal they need. You can call TSA at 305-421-2421 or MIA general inquiries at 305-876-7000.
