DFW Airport Parking Guide

Dallas Fort Worth Airport

Air travel can be confusing and stressful especially when it comes to finding your way around the airport and its parking structures. We want to take the stress out of DFW parking, so we put together this short guide to help travelers navigate through Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. In this guide, travelers will find everything from parking rates and terminal information to local hotels and attractions.

DFW Parking Rates

Opzioni di parcheggio tariffe di parcheggio
North and South Express Lots $10 per day
North and South Remote Lots $10 per day
Terminal Garages $24 per day
Valet Parking $31 per day + Taxes

That’s why we created Parkos, an online comparison platform for travelers to search and book affordable, easy airport parking! Our DFW Airport parking operators offer parking for as little as $5 per day. We also work with hotels to bring you convenient Park, Sleep, and Fly (PSF) packages. When you book with one of our partners you can expect to find high-quality parking lots, free shuttle service, complimentary luggage assistance, secure facilities, and professional service. Booking at Parkos makes parking easier and cheaper than the official airport parking lots.

Dallas-Fort Worth has four different parking options for passengers flying out of DFW. The parking rates start at $10 per day and reach approximately $31 per day, not including taxes. The cheapest option at DFW are the North and South Express lots. The Express lots are located near the South and North entry/exit of the airport terminals and offer both covered and uncovered parking. The Remote lots are also $10 per day and are located near the entrance of the airport’s property. The North and South Remote lots offer bus service to bring travelers to and from the terminals. The third option are the DFW Terminal garages at $24 per day. The terminal garage parking is located next to each of the five terminals making it the closest option for travelers. The last option is the airport valet service, charging $31 per day, plus taxes. With valet parking, passengers will drive up to their desired terminal to meet the valet attendant who will then park the car while travelers check-in.

DFW Airport Parking can be expensive and stressful. The two cheaper options require passengers to take the airport shuttle, which can mean long waiting times. For the Remote lots, the shuttle is only available between 5 AM and 12 AM, so if your flight is scheduled outside of these hours you won’t have shuttle service to/from the terminals. The closest parking options are the most convenient but also the most expensive. Travelers shouldn’t have to pay high rates for airport parking.

Airport FAQS

Here you can find the most frequently asked questions from travelers flying out of SeaTac International Airport.

Most airlines recommend arriving at the airport 2-3 hours before your departure time. Travelers should confirm their departure time and follow the instructions provided by their airline. Also check traffic and weather conditions, and plan to give yourself extra time in case of delays.
Most checkpoints in all 5 terminals are open between 4:30 AM and 9:00 PM. Checkpoints for D30 and E18 are open as late as 11:00 PM. Each security checkpoint varies on opening and closing times, and during slower travel times, not every checkpoint may be open. We therefore advise travelers to contact the airport or their airline to check the operating hours for TSA.
Travelers are not required to reserve a parking spot at the airport. Airport parking is on a first come, first serve basis but there is an option to reserve parking online in certain lots. Please check the airport’s parking page for information on which areas have spaces available for reservations.
